FAQS

  • We attach particular importance to sustainability and quality. For this reason, our Bases and Inlays are processed and refined almost solely in Germany. We work together with small businesses known for their excellent craftsmanship to make sure your Nyyukin will not only last you for a long time to come, but also that production conditions are always fair and sustainable.

  • You can simply wipe them carefully using a moist cloth. If they get really dirty, you can try putting them in an ultrasonic cleaner with a a drop of mild detergent.

  • Our Bases (except for the Nau Base) are made of high-quality materials and are designed to be very long-lasting. Even then they are happy to get handled with some love and care– store them in a dry, dark place and if possible prevent direct contact with personal care products (especially those containing alcohol). When traveling it's best to put them in their little pouch to avoid scratches. For cleaning, simply wipe them gently with a moist cloth. Small scratches are perfectly natural – they are a reflection of the experiences you have had together.

  • Our Inlays are made from highly elastic polymers so they are flexible without losing their basic shape. If used carefully, their function will be preserved for a long time. However, you shouldn’t try to deliberately stretch or bend them by force. If you do this, they might lose their optimum fit or even break.

  • Our Bases are made of highest-quality Swiss watchmaker steel or titanium. In the course of normal use, therefore, they cannot bend and are designed to accompany you on virtually all your adventures. However, you should never try to bend them “into shape”. The shape of the Base is designed to ensure that your Inlay fits precisely – that’s the fun and the whole point of Nyyukin. We recommend you look for a Base that appeals to you using our size table.

  • All our products are a combination of cutting-edge techniques, materials and traditional craftsmanship, too. Our Inlays are made made innovative 3D printing. We attach particular importance to unique colours. Small colour deviations can occur between individual series. These are not errors but a sign of individual expression.

  • We tried out a lot of design options but finally arrived at a clear solution: our bracelets are created to fit the natural shape of the human wrist. So unlike a lot of other bracelets, they will fit around your wrist perfectly. However, in order to obtain an optimum fit and ensure your Inlays always sit well, our bracelets cannot be bent out of shape; this is due to the fact that we use high-quality, sturdy watchmaker steel or titanium as the solid core. Here you will find a simple tool to measure the circumference of your wrist. In this way you can find out exactly which size fits you. And if something still doesn’t quite fit after all, it goes without saying that we’ll be more than happy to replace it for you.

  • We don’t make jewelry for men or women, but for wrists. Simply choose whether you wish to wear your Nyyukin more discreetly or more prominently. One note: The openings in sizes L and XL  are one the smaller side in our 001 Bases. We would therefore recommend you pick an 002 Base if your wrist is a little stronger. If you have any questions about that, just write us an e-mail.

  • Our Inlays are made of flexible polymers. Gently push the Inlays out at the sides and pull them slowly out of your Base. You don’t need to worry about anything getting broken in the process. The Inlays are flexible and always return to their original shape. You just shouldn’t try to overstretch them.

  • As part of the development process, we wore and tested Nyyukin over long periods of time, taking them on numerous trips – including lengthy exposure to intense heat and snow. You can wear the pieces at all times and wherever you like. But as is always the case with high-quality materials, it is a good idea to go easy on your jewelry from time to time. For this reason, we would always recommend taking off the bracelets in extreme conditions or environments. Even though you might find this difficult.

  • We only use the very highest-quality materials for our products. As such, we are not currently aware of any instances in which our products have caused an allergic skin reaction. If you feel this might be the case, however, please let us know.
